Foundation Helps Teens Prepare for Careers

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Taco Bell Foundation, Inc., also known as the “Taco Bell Foundation for Teens”, is a nonprofit 501(c) (3) public benefit corporation committed to inspiring and enabling America’s teens to graduate high school and reach their full potential through its programs, partnerships, and direct financial assistance.

Each year, the Taco Bell Foundation for Teens serves more than 100,000 teens and awards more than 300 grants and scholarships focused on education and career preparedness.

Since 1992, they have awarded more than $42 million in grants and scholarships with the help of ongoing customer, franchisee, employee and vendor partner donations.

Leigh Ann Tuohy, best know from the book and movie The Blind Side, is also a Taco Bell franchisee and joined us to talk about the foundation.
