It was family, friends, football and a whole lot of fun this Thanksgiving for Sean and me! We gathered around the table with a home cooked meal (picked up and paid for by me (and 30 of our dear family and friends)…..therefore home cooked!), had games for the kids, football in the yard and we not only watched football on TV but went to games as well. To me ThanksGIVING is such a special time. Whether the group is 2 or 22, it is always fun to pause from hectic lives and enjoy a day for remembering what we’re thankful for and giving to others. The simple things that money can’t buy…If we have air in our lungs and our heart is beating we have reason to give thanks. If we have the opportunity to make choices, we have reason to give thanks. And if we have the ability to make a difference in someone’s life, we have reason to give thanks. Invest in people and not things this Christmas season. It will change your life.
