“A picture is worth a thousand words.” Not too long ago Leroy was not smiling. This picture however shows a gorgeous family of 6 with smiles a mile long. As we wrap up November I’d like to share with you a story that had a very happy ending. Please meet Leroy. Just a year ago, Leroy did not have a home. He did not have someone there for him to encourage, love, support and cheer him on. He did not have someone to look out for him and champion for him. Enter a family with open hearts and an open door. Were there unknowns for them … absolutely! But they stepped out of their comfort zone and they welcomed Leroy in and made him part of their family. He has been a wonderful addition. He is the big brother to the 3 younger kids. He is the joy, the light, the fun. He is valuable and deserving and this family recognized that. They took that leap of faith! Leroy deserved a chance. All the kids we posted this past month deserve a chance. They deserve not only love but an opportunity and a future. Please continue to pray for them and consider fostering. I cannot thank you all enough for all your kind words and prayers. Remember family has nothing to do with biology but everything to do with love. Thank you for being a part of my family!
