Happiness, exhilaration, confidence, pride, attitude… these are the words that I would use to describe the feelings I had when I got to the top of this mountain in Jordan. To me that feeling means I have achieved a goal or maybe conquered an obstacle. Feeling on top of the world is a great thing but it is difficult to maintain because of life’s daily grind… whether it’s a hardship, a loss, a setback, an illness or any other numerous heart breakers suddenly reality will hit you right between the eyes … fast and furious. Here’s just a little reminder to help you always keep that top of the world feeling. Stay positive and surround yourself with like-minded people. Have a mindset of gratefulness. Help others when you can with sincerity and good intentions and be an integral part of your community. Be careful to avoid those that drain you and focus on your health and wellness. Be loving and kind and make a difference each and every day. These actions alone should help keep you on top of the world. I loved when I hit the top of this mountain in Jordan. Sean and I just returned from two wonderful weeks in the Holy Land and I now have a renewed enthusiasm and a passion for Godly things that are inspirational and take me back to the roots of my faith. It was an amazing journey and one that Sean and I will never forget.
