It was great last week having not only Collins but several of my cousins at the beach with me. We had a mini family reunion. I never could get all of us together in one picture because someone was always doing something else. But here is a perfect picture of the reality of life. There was less than 1% of my battery left on my phone and I am trying to get a quick photo with at least Collins because she’s leaving the next day and on the last attempt she’s fixing her swimsuit as opposed to smiling at the camera! Note to self… Life is not perfect! We are all looking for the perfect picture, the perfect test score, the perfect marriage, the perfect child or job and on and on and on. Jesus Christ is the only thing that was ever perfect or ever will be perfect on this earth! Work with what you have, where you are! We were born to be real not perfect! Remind yourself that it’s OK not to be perfect. Mistakes are proof that you are trying. Just be you and be the best you that you can possibly be!
