It was one of those weeks that I was constantly saying, “I’m just so busy… I have so much to do.” This picture was one of the many things on the to-do list! Collins launched a new color in her clear bag line. SJ had three projects for me to do. I had book plates that had to be signed for events. There was travel. I was working on four or five projects at Collins new house and on and on and on… like everyone. It seems like we are all living like this. Then Saturday rolled around and we were just sitting at SJ’s house talking and watching golf and I looked around and thought to myself … we are so scheduled that it’s hard to find time to sit with the people we love and have easy, slow conversations about life. It made me think about the fact we all need to recalibrate at certain times and create pockets for our family, our community and just to reflect on life. I know it’s hard to do but we are made to do more than just check things off our to-do list! I wish I had a magical solution for this but I do not. But I’m certainly going to give it a try!
